Professional grade home whitening kits
With a professional grade teeth whitening kit you can affordably whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home whilst having the peace of mind that we're available should you need any help or have any questions.
Do home teeth whitening kits work?
Some (including ours) do, some don't. It really depends on the chemicals contained within the whitening solution, the guidance you follow and the quality of the mouth guard. When it comes to teeth whitening you get what you pay for which is why some patients opt for laser teeth whitening.
How do I use a home whitening kit?
Home teeth whitening works as follows:
Screening: We'll do a quick check of your teeth to see if there are any obvious reasons for you to avoid going ahead with a home teeth whitening kit.
Whitening trays: Simply sit in the dentists chair and the dentist will provide you with a whitening tray that they will mould so that it provides a perfect, comfortable fit. You'll be wearing them a lot over the next two weeks so a comfortable fit is essential to avoid irritation and discomfort.
Whitening solution: Based on the results you want and the condition of your teeth, the dentist will recommend and provide a whitening solution and advise how to use it, side effects to look out for and what to do if you have any problems.
You go home: You'll use the whitening gel and trays together for a few hours everyday over one or two weeks. The dentist may ask you to come back into the clinic during treatment if they have any initial concerns.

Appearance may differ depending on the brand that we stock at the time of visit.
See the results: You'll have probably noticed the results gradually as you've been wearing the trays but now you can stop using them and enjoy your results.
After care: Your teeth may be slightly sensitive after treatment. The dentist will advise how to reduce sensitivity. The dentist will also advise how to prolong the effects of your treatment - they're not permanent and depending on a variety of factors can last for several months. You can top up your treatment in the future and you dentist will advise accordingly.
What is the difference between a kit I get from you and one I get from the internet?
If you are considering buying a kit from a website on the internet then you need to consider the following:
Where does it come from? You're buying it from a website that you may know but where was it manufactured? Did the manufacturer have to produce it under strict guidelines that ensure your safety.
Is it reputable? There may be lots of people saying they've bought it but did it work? Where there any side effects?
Is it safe? We could easily sell lots of our whitening kits online and pass on any risk to you but we choose not to because we care about the safety of our patients. We ask all patients to visit us and get the advice they need to use the product in a safe and effective manner that will not compromise their oral health. Are you confident of using something you've never used before? What will you do if something goes wrong?
Will it deliver a good result? The chemical composition of kits from your dentist versus those available on the internet can vary dramatically. Kits available from a dentist have been tested for quality. This coupled with their advice will ensure you stand the best possible chance of achieving great results and keeping them that way for as long as possible
