What is a frenectomy?

Frenectomies are when we remove one or more frenums from your mouth. The frenum is the stretchy bit of skin that can sometimes be felt above the gums of your top front teeth and below the tongue.

The procedure is very simple and can be done in a single session. You will be provided with a local anaesthetic and in some circumstances sedation may be required.
